Account & wallet

Sign in, fund your wallet and understand which assets you are using.

Sign in to Chimera with email or X. Privy provides the embedded wallet used for on-site confirmations. Use the same sign-in method and account to return to your existing wallet. Connecting an unrelated external wallet does not move its assets into your Chimera account.

If X sign-in is unavailable, try the enabled email method. Do not assume two different sign-in methods resolve to the same account unless they are linked. Compare the full wallet address before sending funds.

Open your profile and choose Receive to copy your wallet address or scan its QR code. Send assets on Ink. The same-looking address on another network does not mean the balance is spendable on Ink. Check the sending service supports the exact destination network.

Keep a small ETH balance for gas. WETH can fund a token purchase or reward payout, but does not replace ETH for ordinary gas payments. An exchange withdrawal or bridge may charge its own fees.

  1. Copy the address from your signed-in Chimera profile.
  2. Select Ink at the sending exchange, wallet or bridge.
  3. Verify the full address and network before confirming.
  4. Wait for confirmation, then refresh balances.

ETH is Ink’s native gas asset. WETH is its ERC-20 wrapped form, used by Chimera’s token pools and WETH reward accounting. Wrapping and unwrapping exchange the two at one unit for one unit, excluding gas. A swap interface may perform wrapping as part of its flow; review the asset actually requested.

Balances show the token logo with a small chain identifier. USD values are estimates based on the latest available pricing data. A missing quote is shown as unavailable, not as a zero-value asset. The displayed decimals can be shortened while the transaction retains the exact amount.

Your Chimera wallet has its own address. Never share private keys, recovery material or email verification codes. Use the wallet export action only when you intend to control the account in another wallet, and store exported material securely. Anyone with that key can control the funds.

Signing in, approving a token allowance and confirming a transaction are different actions. Read the amount, recipient and network before signing. Disconnecting signs you out of the current connection; it does not revoke past onchain approvals or reverse transactions.
